Kiera O'Brien is a cruelty-free and vegan, freelance hair and makeup artist and designer. Fully qualified from Solent University with a First Class BA (Hons). Her training with many industry professionals also includes workshops with the Directors of Artistry for Illamasqua and MAC Cosmetics; Pablo Rodriguez and Terry Barber.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Kiera was first inspired to pursue her hair and makeup career, through her extra-curricular hobby of Ballroom and Latin Dancing, competing nationally since the age of 4 years old. From this, Kiera has always understood the importance of hair and makeup artistry, and the role it plays within not just sports, but all aspects of media.

Throughout her early stages of education, Kiera always had a passion for creative subjects, influencing her choice to take Art and Textiles at GCSE, and Graphic Design at A-Level. In addition to this, Kiera O'Brien has a family history within the industry, inspiring her career choice. With her late Grandfather running his own cosmetology and wig-making company, Kiera also comes from a family of hairdressers - developing her creative skillset from a young age.

Kiera also specializes in designing, creating, and applying special effects & prosthetic pieces.

Not only has Kiera been fortunate enough to work with national TV broadcasting companies, high-end brands, and celebrities - she also provides luxury, bespoke services for bridal clients. Kiera strongly believes in enhancing natural beauty through hair styling and makeup application.
